They’d lived with Builder Beige for awhile, but had accumulated some fun stuff. Their request was a good gray background for their main areas, and some saturated colors as backdrops to their well-chosen and classic furniture.
Living after. The right shade to update and add color, but also keep the room light
Beige living before. They asked for a cool pale gray on the walls. A tricky shade to choose given their changing light.
Adjacent Master, before. This time a medium gray was requested to transition well from the living.
Master After. Small change, but big effect. And scrollwork panels are always better in color, right?
And in the master bath, let’s make that standard builder vanity Navy Blue!
Blue in the entry too. First impression saying, “A fun family lives here.”
Continuing the palette in the sweet nursery.
Does a media room always have to be black? Deep purple helps the room double as a playroom during the day, and cuts the glare from the direct afternoon sun.
